When: Thursday, February 27th, from 5-7 pm. Every 5 years FEMA requires that the City of Kansas City, MO, complete a Hazard Mitigation Plan. Hazard mitigation is taking steps to lessen the impact of a disaster on life, property, and services. Kansas City, MO, Office of Emergency Management welcomes you to learn about hazard mitigation and comment on what you would like to see included in the plan. A representative from OEM will be available next Thursday, February 27th.
