Deadline Extended to March 22nd
The City is offering residents and local organizations a unique opportunity to build better neighborhoods. The newly introduced ReBuild KC-Neighborhood Grants program will primarily use American Rescue Plan Act Coronavirus State & Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (ARP) to finance a variety of neighborhood improvements, including:
Housing improvements, affordable housing and unhoused solutions
Infrastructure projects and improvements such as sidewalks, sustainable streetscapes, digital access, blight elimination, etc.
Job creation and employment training programs
Violence prevention and crime reduction initiatives
Energy sustainability/efficiency programs, such as tree planting, solar or other alternative energy solutions
Neighborhood resiliency projects/programs
Activities that promote healthy communities
Other neighborhood and community projects or programs
The deadline for the Rebuild KC neighborhood grant program has been EXTENDED to March 22! Submit your project idea, big or small, that builds stronger, more vibrant neighborhoods and supports small businesses.
